Hello All,
Several of you have asked that I take pictures of my journey into the wild unknown tundra that is... Wisconsin.
Okay, there may be no tundra per se, but there is a lot of cheese and bugs apparently. So I thought instead of sending photos and videos to to separate groups, I would just send everyone here. This will a fun work-in-progress for me, as I have directed others in the setup of their blogs but have fallen off in my own musings. So we shall see. I still haven't figured out how I am going to charge either my laptop or my phone in the middle of a camporee so this might be a really short blog.
In any case, we are scheduled to depart this Sunday at 4 P.M. on an 18 hour drive, of which I am driving for at least nine hours (I will need to slip into a coma very early tonight). Everyone who has gone before says it will be tons of fun and quite memorable (that "memorable" is a tricky word...)
All right, that's it for now; have to start the final preparations and go over my survival checklist (Bug spray--check. Sleeping bag,--check. Map to nearest hotel--check). ;-)
